Whether you want to discuss a book or movie, play a game of cards, or engage in lively conversation while sipping on your favorite coffee drink, you can do all of that when you stop at 1418 Coffee House.

Every cup of coffee prepared by the team at 1418 Coffee House comes from Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters, who use farm-sourced coffee beans from sustainable, responsible coffee farmers from around the world.

You can order drip or cold-brewed coffee or indulge in one of your favorite espresso beverages such as Americano, latte, or cappuccino, or branch out and try one of 1418 Coffee House’s specialty drinks like The Purple Haze cafe latte with lavender and vanilla. Add regular, oat, almond, or soy milk to your hot or cold beverages. The 1418 Coffee House is open until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and you can find them in historic downtown Plano at 1418 K Ave.

Play Games and Go Bowling at PINSTACK

Make your nightlife outing fun when you head to PINSTACK, located at 6205 Dallas Parkway in Plano. Before or after you begin your evening of fun and games, have a drink and a bite to eat at the cafe serving favorites such as fish tacos, burgers, pizza, and out-of-this-world milkshakes.

Enjoy an evening of bowling at the PINSTACK lanes featuring modern equipment, appealing amenities, and fun music. You and your partner can defy gravity on the climbing wall equipped with LED lights, play a rousing game of laser tag, test your agility in the laser maze, or have a great time on the bumper cars. PINSTACK stays open until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and until 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Have Drinks and Dinner at Vickery Park

Wine and dine at Vickery Park, located in downtown Plano’s historic art district. You can enjoy a simple meal with locally crafted beers at the bar, have a formal sit-down dinner in the dining room, or play games in the recreation section of Vickery Park. When you come for a meal, start with your favorite beer, a glass of wine, or cocktail while sharing an appetizer like chicken wings or the charcuterie and cheese board.

Come to Studio 22 in Dallas by yourself or with a partner to take dance lessons from professional dance instructors. The studio has over 4,600 square feet of dance floor space to whirl and twirl on as you refine your dance skills, whether you want to learn ballroom, country-western, salsa, swing, or the tango. Take private lessons when you want to learn a style quickly or take group classes when you’d like to meet new people and enjoy the company of others while learning the dance style.

Sing Karaoke at the Tavern on Main Street

Feel like a superstar when you pick up the microphone to sing your favorite karaoke song at the Tavern on Main Street, located at 115 E. Main St. in Richardson. The building that houses the Tavern on Main Street was built in the 1800s and has been a tavern for over 40 years. Not only can you sing via the karaoke machine, but you can play foosball or pool with your friends, enjoy live music on select nights, see if you can win at poker, and even have a bite to eat.

Practice your singing skills and enter into monthly contests to win cash prizes. Winners of the karaoke contest are judged by how well you sing, your stage presence, and most importantly, how much the crowd responds to you.

Create Art With Splatter Paint

A fun idea for date night is to head over to Pipe and Palette and make art with splatter painting. When you arrive, you’re escorted into a private splatter paint room, where you get fitted in splatter attire. The staff brings in a canvas for you with plenty of paints, gives you brief instructions on tips for creating art with splatter paint, and then you get to have fun together. Take home your creation to hang on your wall so you’ll always remember your unique date night.
