Scruffy Duffies
For a classic sports pub, Scruffy Duffies is the place to go. You’ll find more than 20 HD TVs showing all the top sports of the season. The music isn’t the only draw here. You’ll also find a mouthwatering menu with options like Kobe burger, shrimp linguine, chicken fried ribeye, and salmon. Finish up wit the cinnamon and sugar-coated cheesecake sopapilla or decadent chocolate toffee torte, and don’t forget to check out the drink menu featuring beer, wine, champagne, and cocktails.
Sambuca is open until 1 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and until 2:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Sambuca is closed on Sunday and Monday.
II Brothers Grill & Bar
II Brothers has been a Plano staple since 2004. Often referred to as the local “Cheers,” this family-owned grill and bar certainly provides the kind of environment where you’ll feel like everyone knows your name. The menu is packed with comfort foods like chicken fried steak, fish and chips, grilled pizza, ribs, and burgers. You’ll even find decadent treats like NY style cheesecake, layered chocolate cake, and Texas beignets. The drink menu includes beer, wine, signature cocktails, and a variety of mules.
II Brothers hosts karaoke Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The bar also hosts watch parties for The Dallas Cowboys, LSU, Texas A&M, Seattle Seahawks, USC, and Nebraska. You’ll even find the occasional UFC event on the screens. You can enjoy happy hour from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and all day on Sunday with special discounts on beer, wine, and well drinks.
