All You Need to Know About the 2019 Laramie Longhorn Edition

2019 Ram 1500The design of the 2019 Laramie Longhorn Edition was recently released at the Detroit Auto Show and is now a highly anticipated vehicle among Ram drivers. This is what you can expect from the stylish and durable 2019 Laramie Ram model.

Power

Truck drivers understand the importance of power. Laramie drivers can choose between two engine options. The 3.6-liter V6 engine features 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The 5.7-liter V8 HEMI boasts an impressive 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. This power translates to a payload capacity of 2,300 pounds and a maximum towing ability of 12,750 pounds.

Both engine options also have an available hybrid upgrade. Although trucks are often not synonymous with energy efficiency, the 2019 Laramie Longhorn Edition is the exception. This capable truck features a hybrid powertrain. This makes Ram the only manufacturer to use a mild hybrid system on its truck line. It is not yet known if there will be a 3.0 EcoDiesel model in this line.

Exterior Design

The 2019 Laramie Longhorn features a more upscale exterior design with standard adaptive LED headlights and chrome bumpers. Tow hooks and wheel flares are also standard across all 2019 Laramie trim options. Choose between 20-inch or 22-inch chrome wheels with a special design that is exclusive to the Laramie brand.
The standard paint trim comes with a two-tone paint color, but you can choose a single paint color instead. Show off your appreciation of the Longhorn brand with a chrome badge that is stretched along the tailgate.

Interior Design

Even the interior of the 2019 Laramie Longhorn has seen an upgrade that improves both functionality and comfort. The interior is trimmed with high-quality wood accents and premium 100-percent full-grain brown and beige leather seats with belt buckle seatbelts.
The center console and panels are trimmed with alligator skin covers, and the steering wheel is wrapped with fine wood. The entire design is finished off with the authentic Longhorn logo across the passenger’s glove box. The interior also features an upgraded ambient lighting system for improved night time driving.

Technology

Truck drivers expect the latest in terms of technological improvements. Perhaps one of the most impressive features technologically is the upgraded driver infotainment screen. The standard screen includes a UConnect 8.4-inch touchscreen system with turn-by-turn navigation, WiFi ability, and smartphone sync ability.
You can also upgrade to an even larger screen at 12 inches. The larger screen gives the driver the ability to shift between dual apps, making for an even more convenient drive. There are five USB ports located throughout the cabin for guaranteed connectivity of all technological devices. The 2019 Laramie will also come standard with a key fob.
Ram has finally designed a truck for its most loyal of customers. The 2019 Laramie Longhorn Edition honors the true Texan. The impressive powertrain, comfortable interior, and fancy exterior are perfect for hitting the Texas roads. Come by Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Plano to see these southern features in person.
