Grey 2020 Jeep Cherokee driving down a winding roadWhether you’re looking for a new off-road champion or simply want an SUV with the capability to tackle any challenge, look no further than the Jeep Cherokee. The 2020 rendition of this popular SUV takes selection, performance, and capability to the next level with a huge range of available features. Let’s take an in-depth look at what this new Jeep brings to the table and why it’s such an exciting model to test drive this year.

Five Exciting Trims

First of all, there are five available trim levels to choose from. Having this type of selection helps you select the features you want most without paying for ones you don’t need or aren’t excited about. The base trim level is the Latitude which is followed by the Latitude Plus, Limited, Trailhawk, and Overland. Depending on which trim level you opt for, you’ll find 17- to 19-inch wheels, chrome accents, and two-toned appearances.
Off-road junkies will want to look at the Trailhawk or Overland trims specifically. While being a higher trim, the Trailhawk still has 17-inch wheels, however, additions such as two front tow hooks, a rear tow hook, and the Trail Rated merit make it a true trail warrior. The Overland trim features the larger 19-inch wheels but doesn’t include the rear tow hook.

Powerful Performance Features

When it comes to Jeep, you should expect some impressive performance features. Thankfully, you don’t need to worry about the 2020 Jeep Cherokee, as it’s ready for anything.
There are three different engine configurations available to suit your needs. Each is designed for maximum fuel efficiency and power. The first available engine is a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine with dual variable valve timing and a nine-speed automatic transmission. If you need even more power, you’ll want to opt for the 3.2-liter Pentastar engine, which is a six-cylinder powerhouse capable of towing up to 4,500 pounds. The third option is a 2.0-liter diesel that is specially designed for extra power. It has an output of 295 pound-feet of torque.
All 2020 Jeep Cherokee trims are available with all-wheel drive. The Trailhawk and Overland trims are only available with all-wheel drive while, the Latitude, Latitude Plus, and Limited trims can be bought in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Awesome Entertainment Technology

Another thing to love about the 2020 Jeep Cherokee is what’s inside the cabin. The center console of the new Cherokee is loaded with today’s most in-demand media and entertainment features. Use the latest tech to stay updated on local weather, or for a big picture on road trips, you can pull up a weather map. This year’s Cherokee is also equipped with Alexa compatibility, giving you the power of Amazon’s powerful personal assistant on the go. Popular entertainment inclusions on the 2020 Cherokee include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the ability to turn your Jeep into a Wi-Fi hot spot.
There’s a lot to be said about how incredible this SUV really is. To get a real feeling for its power and potential, stop in for a test drive today or check out our online inventory.
