Choose a Trim

The 2018 Grand Cherokee makes it easy to find the perfect fit in an SUV to handle on-the-road and off-road expeditions. Choose from one of the 11 trims that include the Laredo, Limited, Upland, Altitude, Trailhawk, Sterling Edition, Overland, High Altitude, Summit, SRT, and the Trackhawk.

Interior

The Grand Cherokee is designed with families in mind with its spacious interior. With the rear seats folded down, there’s ample room for storage with 68.3 cubic feet of storage space. With the rear seats in the upright position, the SUV still offers generous storage space with 46.3 cubic feet of availability.

Under the Hood

The Grand Cherokee offers a choice in engines, horsepower, and torque, which provides multiple choices to fit your driving needs. The SUV is available with a 3.6-liter V-6, and a 5.7-liter, 6.4-liter, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8 engine.
Other features available depending on the trim include four-wheel drive (4WD), rear-wheel drive (RWD), and all-wheel drive (AWD). An eight-speed automatic is standard across all trims.
When it comes to how many horses the Cherokee produces, it depends on the trim. The base model V-6 produces 295 horsepower (hp). The V-8 models produce 360-hp, 475-hp, and 707-hp.

Handling and Performance

The combination of horsepower, handling capabilities, torque, and braking system make the Cherokee road-ready for whatever comes its way.
As an example of its speed and quick response time, the Cherokee Trackhawk takes only 3.5 seconds to go from zero to 60 mpg. The SRT can handle a quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds, which goes to show the Grand Cherokee has the power needed for smooth riding adventures.
The Trackhawk and SRT offer five distinct modes of driving: Snow and Tow, Auto, Track, Sport, and a custom setting with its Selec-Track system. Both trims are also equipped with the standard Launch Control, which enhances the SUV’s performance level via the suspension, transmission, driveline, and the engine to ensure power when needed.
Fuel economy ranges from 11 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway to 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

Infotainment

Depending on the trim, the Grand Cherokee has a lot to offer in infotainment and technology that can make a long trip more enjoyable.
A few of the features that make the SUV an attractive option for families include a 7-inch or 8.4-inch touch screen, multispeaker audio system, navigation with SiriusXM Traffic, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and multiple USB ports.
To keep backseat passengers entertained, there’s an optional rear entertainment system. The Blu-ray system features mounted screens with video and audio ports. For the driver, remotely controlling many features of the SUV can be accomplished using the SiriusXM Guardian system.

Safety Features

A few of the Grand Cherokee’s safety features include ParkView rear backup camera, Keyless Enter-N-Go, child safety locks, front and rear head air bag, driver and passenger air bag, brake assist, and traction control.
Wherever your family outings take you, there’s a Grand Cherokee ready to go along for the ride.
