Drama Kids “Make Them Laugh” Summer Camp
This summer camp is filled with summer sessions of laugh, fun and joy for kids. The camp includes key lessons for kids in the form of funny stories, interactions with drama experts, laughing gatherings with clowns, theatre games and many other related activities. The program costs $150 and is for children aged 6 to 11 years old and is held at Corinth Gymnastics center on Corinth street.
 
Heritage Farmstead
Heritage Farmstead provides a unique atmosphere for the attendants where they can have interactive encounters. The Farmstead is a museum that offers insight into what life was like in the Backland Prairies.
This activity has no age limits and is for everyone to enjoy. As far as cost is concerned, those 4 & under are free. Otherwise, it is $3 per person. Guided tours will be charged $7 for adults and $5 for students.
 
Moonlight Mondays at Tom Meuhlenbeck Center
 
As the name indicates, this thrilling activity is about swimming on Monday in the moonlight. The main theme of this exercise is communicating the importance and benefits of swimming. This activity is for everyone aged 5 and above. This event is held at the Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center. Moonlight Mondays run from June 5th to Aug. 14th from 7-9 p.m. every Monday. Admission is $2 per person.
 
Native Texas Butterfly House & Garden
This butterfly House & Garden is part of the Heard Museum, and entrance is included with general admission into the museum. The garden provides a very soothing and relaxing feeling for participants as they walk among free-flying native butterflies. This activity is quite different, yet scintillating. It caters to attendants of all ages.
 
Bahama Beach Waterpark
Less than 30 miles from central Plano, you’ll find Bahama Beach Waterpark. It is a fun experience for families and kids of all ages. This park is organized on the beach with main focus on water slides. The waterpark also has a lazy river and various water games. Their full list of attractions can be seen here. The cost for the park is divided as: $15 for guests at or above 48 inches in height; $11 for those under 48 inches and free for guests aged 2 and under.
 
Cowboy Stadium Tours
Take a short drive to the Cowboy Stadium and see it without all the crowds. This tour gives people a chance to have access to the most popular areas of the Cowboys Stadium. Knowledgeable tour guides are also available throughout the tour providing information and answering questions about the stadium and their history. This program is available for people of all ages. The cost is $17.50 for adults, and $14.50 for kids.
