 2024 Ram Lineup

Ram trucks are some of the most popular pickup trucks on the market each year. This is because Ram trucks offer affordability, reliability, performance, and comfort all in a single package. If you’ve been thinking about getting yourself a new pickup truck, you may be wondering what 2024 Ram vehicles are in store for the upcoming year. With the 2024 models due to release soon, now is the perfect time to start exploring your options.

What 2024 Rams To Expect

Details continue to trickle out about the upcoming Ram lineup for 2024. Our team at Huffines Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (CJDR) in Plano, Texas, has put together this guide to highlight what we know about the upcoming Ram models so you can start to plan for which one you’d like to get.

2024 Ram 1500

The first model to expect is the 2024 Ram 1500, which is Ram’s flagship and most popular truck. The 2023 Ram 1500 earned a coveted spot on Car And Driver’s 10 Best Trucks and SUVs for 2023, and the 2024 model should only improve upon this excellence. One of the reasons for the popularity of the Ram 1500 is its powerful performance at a reasonable price.

Inside the base model of the 2024 Ram 1500, you’ll find a 5.7-liter eight-cylinder hybrid engine that produces 395 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. With this setup, you can easily tow up to 7,760 pounds and haul up to 2,331 pounds. Even with this amount of power, though, the Ram 1500 remains fuel efficient at a combined 22 mpg. The Ram 1500 also comes with a rear-wheel-drive system and a rear multi-link suspension to deliver a comfortable and reliable ride at all times.

Of course, the powerful performance isn’t the only reason to love the 2024 Ram 1500. Inside the cabin, the Ram 1500 is packed with the latest comfort amenities and safety features. The interior has deluxe sound insulation for a quieter ride, a 40/20/40 split bench seat, remote keyless entry, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and comfortable upholstery for all the seats, along with so much more. On top of that, each Ram 1500 has a touch-screen infotainment display through which you can connect your mobile device thanks to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrations.

As for safety features, some of the available options include:

  • Adaptive cruise control.
  • Automatic high beam headlights.
  • Blind-spot monitoring.
  • Rear cross-traffic alert.
  • Automated emergency braking.

The 2023 Ram 1500 received a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and it’s likely that the new 2024 model will perform similarly. If you’re looking for a pickup truck that will help keep you safe while you’re on the road, you can’t go wrong with the new 2024 Ram 1500.

2024 Ram Rampage

The next Ram vehicle that might make its appearance in 2024 is the Ram Rampage. Also known as the Ram 1200, this model has been available in other markets across the world but has yet to make its debut in the United States. However, with other manufacturers starting to release compact pickup trucks, Ram may finally release this model in the States for 2024.

Based on what we know about the Ram Rampage in other markets, we can make a few educated guesses as to what a U.S. version would include. The Ram Rampage currently sold in Brazil uses a 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharged engine that produces 268 horsepower. It also includes all-wheel drive as standard and a nine-speed automatic transmission, two inclusions we expect to carry over. The Brazil version offers a diesel powertrain, but it’s more likely that a U.S. version would use some sort of plug-in hybrid variant.

On the inside, the 2024 Ram Rampage would likely have many of the same features as the Ram 1500. This includes a modern interior, a touch-screen infotainment display, a remote start function, and the latest safety features. All in all, if you’ve been looking for a pickup truck but want something a little smaller than the Ram 1500, the 2024 Ram Rampage would likely be a perfect fit.

2024 Ram REV

Finally, there’s the 2024 Ram REV, which is an all-electric version of the Ram 1500. From the outside, the Ram REV looks very similar to the Ram 1500, with only a few minor changes in the design. For instance, the Ram REV will have unique wheels and a different headlight design to distinguish it from the Ram 1500.

The biggest difference between the Ram 1500 and the Ram REV is its powertrain. With its electric motor and 168-kilowatt battery, the 2024 Ram REV is estimated to have a driving range of up to 500 miles along with 14,000 pounds of towing capacity. You should also be able to get 654 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque, making the Ram REV capable of tackling all sorts of challenges. It’s also estimated that the Ram REV will be able to go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds thanks to its electric powertrain.

As this is a new Ram truck, you can also expect many of the latest amenities and features. You’ll have plenty of space for both passengers and cargo, along with entertainment features to keep you happy on your long drives. The 2024 Ram REV will also likely have many of the latest safety innovations, including automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. All the details about this new electric truck from Ram have yet to be released, so check back again soon to learn more.
